A little about me …

I’m a mom. With 3 children starting to leave the comfort of our little nest, I began this journey several years ago as a way, not to focus on the imminent departure of my kids, but rather to preserve for our family the recipes we all enjoy, the DIY projects my husband and I work on, and the funny and inspirational things that happen around our tiny family farm. It was only after I started writing a little bit that I realized that I was getting so much more out of it myself. I often pull up a favorite family recipe when I’m cooking dinner or making something special. I sometimes refer back to the furniture projects that have brought me joy, and I am reenergized to continue creating more beautiful memories and journaling them along the way. As a former educator, you may discover that my posts have an informational or educational flair. My hope for you is that you find a little inspiration for more creative living too and maybe learn something new along the way. 🌷
